Working on the ratchet system, flatten a brass wire to make the spring and it is strong enough to use for the ratchet,

Now drilling a few holes in the brass cross / reel foot holder to make it work

When the ratchet is completed and working i cover the back from the back plate with the inlay i made before and cover it up with epoxy to get a nice shiny layer, the most difficult part i keep for the end, place the pin correctly in the brass reel foot holder, it is a very Precise job. fingers crossed.Image
