We'll done Evert.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

That is very special. To hold in your hand a reel like that, that you made yourself, must give great satisfaction. Top draw that man.

You should be justly proud of that-and I know that your next one will be even better.
My first effort was nowhere near that standard..in fact, it was so poor, I never bothered to even finish it.

You must post a picture of its first capture.

Again, many congratulations!

Did you scratch build the locomotives also?

Thank you very much for your kind words i really appreciate that, the next one will be better be course this was the first one and also learning project and your postings from the wonderful reels you made did help me very much. The locomotives where made by my dad so i think i have it from him to make things, he also make steam engines working as well and a lot more off that. all made off brass and aluminium.
And yes i post it when i catch the first fish with the reel :-)
Thank you Watermole
