Restoring a vintage rusty reel from France
Restoring a vintage rusty reel possible Albens reel from France there are no markings. i removed the rust after dissembling the reel, removed old paint and do some polishing and cleaning. this has nothing to do with a patina it is just a old rusty reel with no value the way it was.

With lemon juice and very fine steel wool, for the difficult places i use a dremel multitool and a rotating wire brush. the lemon juice solve rust.

I said goodbye to what I knew and embraced the ways of old, with it taking on the attitude that big isn't best.
