Polishing old reel
I bought this old reel from France almost black from dirt and cleaned and polished the reel with steel wool pads and brasso

That is stunning. Did you completely dismantle it and clean all the parts separately?

I was lucky that is was possible to dismantle this reel some reels it is not possible and take a lot of time more to clean. the small Hendryx reels for exampleSnape wrote:That is stunning. Did you completely dismantle it and clean all the parts separately?
