One I made earlier....... much earlier

Made this about ten years ago during a quite time at work, HE15 spool and backplate, titanium screws and fixings, used a couple of ball races so it's not a true pin.
4"diameter, 7/8"spool, ratchet is now rather weak as I must have used a piece of soft material for the ratchet wheel as the teeth are now quite worn out.
Spins a treat on a regular diet of 3 in 1, use it for the majority of my float fishing.

Many thanks, to be honest certain parts are a bit crude as I made it at work and had to do it under the bench so to speak!
Think it took around 16 hours to make as I machined it all using a cnc lathe.
I have made 2 more that are true pins (phosphor bronze bushings etc).
Trouble is I can't think for the life of me where they are!!

It is a handsome reel, I especially like the geometry of the back plate. Is that a twist on / off knob for the check?
