I felt that silicote ABU oil would suit it better than smelly 3 in 1..
But you can use 3-in-1 as emergency insect repellent!

What is your favourite word?
I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.

Synhthetic oils have a higher shear strength than mineral oils, even more then the best of the vegetable oils, castor oil....anyone remember Castrol R ??
Most engine oils now are semi-synthetic as today's motors work at higher temperatures and higher revolutions then before.

The best of the synthetic oils are used in high performance two-stroke engines......what few remain these days....they're only in there for a nano-second and are massively diluted by the fuel charge. Sometimes I think it's a miracle that they work at all.

These racing two-stroke bikes are over 30 years old, fast dangerous and legislated out of existence....only a few men could even control them.....
