I'm getting closer to a perfect Trudex for only 33£.

Polished the latch and everything else there is to polish, degreased it, put some valve oil on and ...

1min5sec!!!!

Thank you all for your good advice.

Now the only thing a need is a nice cane rod to combine with the Trudex. In august I'll spend 3 weeks in Somerset, Devon and Dorset. Maybe I can find one at a car boot sale ...

Have a look at Nobbys post to change the ratchet to left hand wind...
