I did some work on this reel, it was dirty and have some serious oxide under the paint layer and the alloy spool it self. i cleaned all parts, remove all paint and oxide and polished all parts before i give it some new paint, i am pleased with the result

I used Scots Brite and Brasso to finish it high gloss, i must say it is a dirty job that takes a lot off time to get it like this so patience is the magic word

Great job, must have taken a long time and a lot of hard work but it looks like new again.

Nice work Evert :Hat:
Did you use an etch primer, and is it car paint?
Looks as good as new again, well done.

Great work Evert and well worth the effort. I love that dial drag on the back - classic design.
