I used to work for the Rank Organisation back in the 1980's, we made movie camera lenses and all the components were put in a Ultrasonic bath prior to assembly, be aware they are for final de-greasing rather than shifting heavy much and corrosion, give parts a clean with WD40 or something similar first and let the parts dry, then zap them, you'll get better results.

Thanks for the advice Burnie .
I do need to work out a system for dealing with crud prior to the bath .
