I know, not very promising, but maybe there is a small chance that someone have one or more of the above?
I am seeking for information on a their cane spinning rods of that period.
If someone has further information please drop notify me by citation or pm.

Hi Chris,
I don't have a catalogue but what I've got is a D.A.M. Everready cane rod. It's in quite a state and I won't restore or use it. You can have it if you're interested.

Hi Martin,
thank you but I am after information to identify a rod that I have. It is out of the era when they still had names and numbers. And the logo brought me to a time span of 1958 to 1961.

I could ask for these catalogues in a German forum. There's a least on D.A.M. expert I know of. Maybe I can get some scans there. Shall I?

That would be very fine indeed! Focus on spinning rods. 2,10m 20-30g casting weight please. The rod is one of those older ones where there was still attention to detail. From the action I would reckon it's a light pike rod.

That's a pity Martin, be nice to see that on the bank again, its always puzzled me as to why countries like England had such a large tackle industry and far larger countries like Germany, France etc did not.Duebel wrote:Hi Chris,

Re: D.A.M. catalogues between 1958 and 1961 anyone?
Don't get me wrong, Paul, I'd restore and use this rod, if I had the skill and if the rod really was worth the effort. But it's in a really bad condition. The tip is broken about 3 inches down from the tip ring and beeing only 7 feet long it's already short.
As Chris doesn't want to have it, I'll use it for spares and repairs.
The German angling industry isn't that small and hasn't been in the past. There are a lot of anglers and always have been. What might be the difference is that the German approach to angling has been very coarse in the past and so has been the tackle. High quality cane coarse rods made in Germany are very hard to find.
But I'm not at all an expert.
