The National Vintage Fishing Tackle Fair - Sunday 14th May 2017

Post by Arcadia »

Ladies and Gentlemen

Thanks very much to all those of you who travelled to Redditch for the recent Fair, thrilled to see that so many of you had a good time. Thanks, too, for your words of appreciation. The Fair will be on next on Sunday 14th May 2017. Look forward to seeing many of you there again. Herewith a copy of the flyer...

I have probably been to nearly all of them since they first started, but will sadly miss this one. We are having a traditional fishing week staying in a log cabin at a lakeside, with Wal and his wife in another. Looking forward to it immensely.

Sorry to be missing you Stu!

I am looking forward to attending this years event, I will be taking an old 1970s canvas brolly camp as used by anglers of that era, and a Hardy FWK wallis avon rod with original cloth bag and aluminium stoppers if anyone is interested.

I have taken a stall at the last three shows and will be present again on Sunday. The Sweetcorn Kid himself will be signing copies of his latest book and it will be great to say hello to any TFF members attending

And this same flower that smiles today
To-morrow will be dying.

 Having become something of a 'fixture' ... poking people aside with my stick to get through the crush, and having doors held open for me by nice Young Gentlemen like Mr. Chris Sandford ... I'll be there as usual, all things being equal (and as I'm collecting a rod from TFF member 'James (Andrew Davis) it will take wild horses to keep me away !!!!!)
