I sold a cracking example of the Intrepid Continental (green version) on Sunday.....

No problem Dave - I think I have them both still -- somewhere!

Interesting - the flyer goes the "right" way for a left-hander. Can the handle be moved to the right-hand side? If so, I'll have to keep an eye open.
I like the "Bone-shaped" pick-up, it's just like the one on the "Regent" and a vast improvement on the bare wire jobs that grooved so easily.

Vole, Sir ... I'm afraid that the 'Continental' is not ambidextrous.

An elegant reel and probably the best from the morrits stable. Marketed at the bigger fish but by today's standards probably only a 4000.

I still have one of these that is up for grabs for as much as it costs to post, only probably any good for spares though.

Thanks, Mal, that's saved me an awful lot of clicks-through!

The Continental always baffles me - so different from K.P.Morritts' other output design wise - I must say I'm a fan.

Another different version, which is ambidextrous! Unfortunately the bail arm is slightly corroded, so needs replacing.
