Replacement nets.

Post by Gammarus »

I've about finished renovating my old net, just need the leather bit across the front arms. Wondered where you get replacement net bags from? I've been searching on internet a bit and most seem to be for trout nets which are somewhat deeper than I would like and often a wider mesh, my frame has 18" arms (triangular) but will definitely NOT be for big fish, so I could do with something relatively shallow. Any ideas or do I settle for a trout net?

In the old days I made my own nets with a netting needle and once made an enormous carp net, but I can't manage knotless!

That's better, one of those shallow rubber nets would be good, just working the sizes out.
