It is indeed a thing of beauty but with a starting bid of £425 and £25 postage it is almost too good to get wet.
The coiled line travels from the reel, it brings up at last, the hook goes home, and then begins the test of skill. "BB"

That has to be worth a bid or two, anyone got any idea what the cost is if new?

Also, what sort of waiting list there might be for a new one?

My understand is that they were £500 plus when new and that Edward has said he won't be making anymore. I'd think that will only increase the value still more.....

I bought mine new in 1997 for £270 but Edward is not making any more.
He just made another batch of Chris Yates nets (carp sized) but only five.
Cost? Just a paltry £1200.
I think they are all sold....

Just found a catalogue and price list from 1996,Bernard Venables net £200,Special carp net £250, One piece handle £70,Two piece handle £100
