Just wondering if any of you fine chaps would happen recognise the folding mechanism on this net?
Also I'd like to use it with a cane handle, does the head unscrew? Best ask before I snap something!
Who's is it?

Who's is it?
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Hi Luca
I have no idea on the maker as regards the release mechanisum I think the triangular piece should slide up that stud so the net can be folded down my guess its for game fishing. Also I think there would have been a spring, washer and circlip to fit into that groove on the stud so as to stop it falling off the end. Just a opinion don't know for sure

Re: Who's is it?
Thanks Harry. Game fishing may be correct. It's a pretty big net so sea trout or even salmon perhaps?
It does look like a grove for a circlip. It's actually a button though. Push it down and it releases the arms.

Never seen that mech before Luca..country of origin marks? US perhaps...looks like a commercially made net.
What is the function of that side screw? locking?

No markings what so ever that I can see. The screw is the hinge bolt for the arm, best seen in picture 2

Re: Who's is it?
The mechanic of the net first in this thread looks like the one DAM in Germany used.I own a folding net which
works similar to this one shown. You have to push the"button" between the arms down and then you can fold
the arms back.
The one down on the first picture is the one similar to yours, the picture down shows the mechanism of DAM.
Hope it helps....
