What do you mean Robbi? To fit the folded net into a sleeve for example? The rubber causes friction when pushed into such modern rod bags which are rubberized to be waterproof. I prefer plastic bag to carry it wet in the car or a canvas sleeve for storage. But in principal of course you can wrap it as tight as you like. They are quite sturdy. That's what I do when carrying it to the bank. On the bank it hangs free to enable me open the net while with one hand holding the rod with the other.

That's great Chris, yes I would like to carry it in the sleeve of my old non rubberised rod bag. Many thanks for your help and advise, I think I will buy one as I like the idea of the rubber fish friendly mesh and the fact it's not too deep.

Best of luck on that Robbi. Hope you enjoy it and it fits your frame a little better than mine. I need to find a better match with the size of my small stalking net.

No, that's just a picture of the same frame as mine I found on the internet I have used just for reference.

Well, I did not use the exact same net that you are going to order. In my case I won an auction on an old Mitchell handle and I already had the Balzer rubber net. In my case the Balzer was bigger than my Mitchell handle so it's slightly too big but not really a problem. Still able to use it until I find such a replacement like you are going to order. The link you gave let you choose between 60" and 74" so I guess you need to measure your handle: twice the arms plus the space in-between when open I reckon.

Done that each arm is 24 inches and the space in between when open is also 24 inches which all makes 72 inches so I reckon the 74 inch one will do just fine

Should be alright then. Let me know about the quality as I am thinking to order as well. I couldn't find a net-only replacement here in germany. Only complete nets.
Nice chat anyway Robbi, Nice evening!
