Wal strikes again
Having aquired a nice length of bamboo from Andrew Davis back in January for me to eventually make a nice posh landing net handle.......well......I got as far as scraping the outer layer off.. and so it lay dormant for several months....So..... I asked on here if anyone would take on the job of finishing it off for me..... a very kind offer came in (thank you Neil )....although the turn around could have been a while and so politely declined.... then to my rescue our own Wallys-Cast got in touch and very kindly offered to take on the job. After a few exchanges the bamboo was shipped off for Wal to work his magic.....I thought I'd chance it but it wasn't essential of my desired effect of the handle. Wal had a few practices on some bamboo before letting rip on my pole
Anyhoo.....The handle was delivered today and to say I'm over the moon is an understatement.... very chuffed indeed......

Wow that's a beauty!
Great work Wal.
Great work Wal.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Lovely pole Loop, cracking job Wal
