Crabtree net

Hi folks,

I would like to make a Mr Crabtree style landing net similar to the Barder version and would like some advise as to the size of the hardwood needed for the pear drop style frame please. I have decided to use either ash, walnut or beech so need to know all round dimensions.

Take a look at Gudgeon Jim's net
