Delaminated cane

Post by Mike Jordan » Fri Nov 24, 2017 9:43 pm

I have had given to me a split cane rod on which the top 9 inches or so have separated. What would be the best way to glue them back together so that the rod could live again? It's an old rod but apart from that section of the tip it's good. P.S.its a fly rod(not sure if that makes a difference because of the amount of action it would be put through while casting). All advice welcome fellow Piscators.

What Tengisol says, and don't be daunted, it's not a hard job.
