Milwards Swimversa butt ring required please

Post by Paul F » Wed Jan 03, 2018 5:34 pm

I am after a swimversa butt ring, please if anybody could asssist.
Please see photos for the pattern, note the shoulder detail which is unique to this pattern.
The ring is 45mm high, so quite large
I will be happy to pay the going rate and postage, or I can make you some swan quill floats :Thumb:
Many thanks in advance, Paul

Hi Paul, what is the ring diameter. I am sure I have one but from memory I think it may be larger than the one in your photo. I'll try and find it tomorrow and if it's any good it's yours.

So sorry to build your hopes up Paul, I was convinced I had one but I cant find it anywhere.
I remember getting it on ebay a couple of years ago from Steve Draper of the Romsey tackle fair. He was selling a few of them and may have some left if you can find his contact info.

Paul, as last resort you could always get one made, theres a polish chap that wil make you what ever style you want, have a look at "www.perfect-Europe.come" , the chaps name is Ernest Oczos. Hope that helps :Hat:

Hi Paul, I have this agate lined ring @ 25mm with an 18mm centre and standing @ 42mm plus. It looks certainly similar, apart from the centre. It is yours if it can be of any use for your rod.ImageImage
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Hi John,
That is very kind of you, I do have a similar agate ring which I may end up using if I can't find the one I wanted :Hat:
