Peter Thomas

Post by Sandgroper »

After losing his wife earlier this month, Peter Thomas has taken a heavy fall and is currently in hospital. There are probably a number of members who will not be aware of who Peter (or Thosmas as some of us knew him years ago) is. Many will remember him being the angler who netted Walker's 44lb record carp at Redmire.

Peter will be celebrating (I hope) his 90th birthday on the 5th November, he is still at the same address in Hitchin should any of you want to send him a card or good wishes. His address is 17 Burford Way, Hitchin, Herts. But no visitors or 'phone calls please. Any cards or notes are unlikely to be acknowledged, writing is not too easy for him these days.

That's such sad news, I do hope he gets better quickly.

Sad news indeed. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Hadn't spotted this thread but I certainly with him well. Sounds like he's going through a very difficult time and my thoughts are with him and his family.

I too missed this somehow or other. Peter was my Hardy Rep' for many years. My thoughts are very much with him at this moment. Are there any more updates?
