Under-rated?

Post by Snape »

It has always been my perception that Pete Thomas suffered(?) from living in the shadow of Walker. Walker rated Pete very highly as an angler and has been quoted as saying that Pete was a better angler than he. In 1952 is was probably just a fluke that the 44lber picked up Walker's balanced crust rather than Pete's. I wonder how different Pete's life and the angling world would have been had if it had picked up Pete's bait.

I always wondered what Peter thought about it.

Tis true, Peter's life would have been much different had he caught Clarrissa. But then Dick had the inovation as well as the record.

I've always wondered how Clarrissa would have looked in colour............
