Anglers Corner - Grayling on Craftversa

Post by Lucky Strike »

Does anyone have a DVD copy of Anglers corner I could purchase?
I know that most of them are uploaded to youtube, but the Grayling episode with Reg Righyni, Bernard Venables and Herbert Normington has been removed. Shows a Craftversa in action!

Hi Lucky, send me your mailing address and I will pop one in the post.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I thoroughly enjoyed that, thank you. I usually end up saying we’ve improved fish handling since that was made but my only negative thought about this was, “Was it really ever acceptable to throw cigarette stubs in a glorious river like the Wharfe?”

Lovely to see, thanks for posting. I caught my first grayling trotting at Loup Scaur in about 1987.

Love to see Grayling on the fly in Winter to the rod of ole Reg. He did a lot for them as a founder member of the Grayling Society....he was also a very good long trotter for them.

Splendid viewing.
