Ordering "A Passion For Angling" - please help!

Post by Buller »

Guys please help if you can. I am keen to order myself a DVD set of APFA and I've been on the official site. However there appears to be no option for purchasing using PayPal or a credit card. Since I live in South Africa these two methods are the most hassle-free. There isn't even a contact e-mail address. Anyone got any good ideas here? Does someone perhaps have contact details so I could try and arrange payment "manually"? Thanks in advance lads!

Electronic transfer no good to you, then? I'd think that was your best option.

They appear to stock "Catching the Impossible", but not APFA - unless I'm being more than usually unobservant?

Might as well get "Caught in Time" as well. You can phone and place an order I think.
And if you ask nicely Mr Miles might sign your copy and send it to you with a bonus signature too

Does anyone perhaps have an e-mail address for Hugh and Sue Miles?
Thanks

I think we need to put this thread back on track to sorting out getting a copy of APFA for Buller rather than heading down a stream destined for polluted waters please....

edit: actually chaps I am pruning out the posts which are making this thread head off on another less than desirable direction. If you want to throw boilies at each other you'll just have to go elsewhere! :sarcasm:

Surely someone can help Buller find a way to obtain APFA other than by writing a letter to Hugh Miles.

Buller hasn't yet said whether or not he has a bank account - if he has, then electronic transfer is the simplest option according to the APFA website:

Payment by Electronic Transfer.
(from outside U.K. only)
Please make all payments by
Electronic Transfer
(sterling if possible please) to:
International Bank Account No:
GB73MIDL40463771070754

Branch Identifier Code:
MIDLGB2163R

Address:
HSBC, The Square, Wimborne,
Dorset. BH21 1JF U.K.

I found them after some searching and ordered a copy a few days ago. Never had so much trouble ordering something in my life! The "official" distributors just flatly ignored 3 e-mails I sent them (to their private e-mail address too!!). Business must be good.
