Floatbox fishing monks :-)

Post by Evert van der Plas »

Fishing monks, float box almost finished
i love the picture from fishing monks, it is very classic and have humor as well so it had to end up on this bamboo float box
The inside will get purple felt and the picture on the back side is also matching on the box
made a few floats with it as well

Very nice Evert as usual, bamboo floats are something different though.

I love the idea of the laughing Monks; brilliant. I am smiling as I type. Thank you Evert for lifting the spirits of this early Autumnal evening !

Very, very nice - but a question - was the monks done by hand or by transfer? If the latter can you describe how please, if the former can you tell me how long your art teaching sessions lasted for - since I will have no way of ever duplicating this whatever the number of years that I might have before I depart to the (best river) fishery above.

Very nice indeed I love that Monk image, the burnt effect on the box and floats is lovely as well. :Thumb:

For those of us who still believe in Father Christmas, I am thinking that this post provides further evidence to support the existence of "Santa's Grotto; I shall be writing my annual letter of the "wish list" and posting it to Santa c/o "The North Pole" ......... I mean just look at that final photograph of the Float Tube ..... I think I would be watching the Float Tube not the float ..... really delightful. Thank you Evert.
