Rubber Covered Rod Rest Heads, Can't find post- Help?

Post by WoodBurnerMatt »

Good Evening Gentlemen,

I need some help with the forum please. Someone (I can't remember who) showed a photo of some rubber coated metal rod rest heads that he had recently aquired from a tackle shop (New). They were the front and rear type about 2" wide, and I can't for the life of me find the post so I can respectfully ask the member where he got them. Can anyone help?

Thank You
Woodburnermatt

Stick with Efgeeco if you can find good ones
Check the front V rest,s for split,s in the rubber

I`d second using the Efgeeco supports, the only ones I use on a regular basis, truly protective against the varnished surface of cane, with a little give when required. The only other rubber heads I use, are the Pegley Davis Mickey Mouse ears, unfortunately not many of them around.....

I too have the Efgeeco ones on my bamboo banksticks, but they've become very popular lately and the price has shot up! The Drennan ones are harder, but I think they'll still protect a varnished rod OK.

Stonfo do some nice swiveling rests, with rubber inserts, I always use them when float fishing, with a cane rod.
