Re: Rod rests.
Quite a few do, do you have a style/material in mind?
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Dear Reelmaker
I had a look at one of Wals rests at Redditch,Ted (leadweller)showed it me,it was a lovely bit of kit.
Also Micheal had some lovely rests on his table,he may still have some?

Dear friends, something simple and lightweight, not nessarily extendable a nice mottled cane would look nice,I have always made aluminum ones from tubing but now I have retired ,I don't have access to machine tools.Reelmaker
