Re: How to clean the Kelly Kettle
I would not clean it as there is no need to.
Even a build-up of scale inside the jacket will not make any difference. The only reason for really descaling an electric kettle is to make the heating element more efficient but that doesn't apply to a Kelly.
The boiling water will kill off any nasty critters. You could leave it boiling for a few minutes to be sure any germs are dead.

Keep the flavour going! I always refuse a fresh glass in the pub for the same reason.......

Definitely don't clean it....rinse it out with a little water each time you use it but the scuffs and scorch marks add to the flavour....

I normally don't bother to clean mine if there are any loose pieces stuck inside around the base I just use some soft wire wool to remove it.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

How about denture tablets, like Steradent?
A gentler option, and I use them to clean my flask.
Rinse out afterwards of course, otherwise your tea will taste minty fresh.

Made myself some nice noodles this Saturday. And caught this 0.7 lbs roach. Good times!
