An illuminating subject...

Post by SmithyFish »

I've very recently acquired this very nice 1952/3 Petromax 828 lantern. After replacing a couple of small internal bits and pieces it'll be just the job to get me through those crisp autumn nights I so enjoy. A big shoal of whiting and a pie warming on the lantern...life doesn't get much better, gentlemen!

I like that, just beware that you don't unwittingly steer any ships toward the rocks through being mistaken for a lighthouse!
