Not much on this afternoon so decided to wonder into town and peruse the junk/vintage/antique shops and came across a very nice canvas and leather rucksack with a metal frame circa 1950's for which I paid £15. I also bought a cigar box for my home made floats, £4, and a selection of flys in little plastic box's for £2 a box! So happy with my purchases I felt I had to share them with you........sad or what? I think I'm becoming a bit of a geek!
Hope you like the pics.....

Nicely done. That rucksack is a bargain.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

I agree, lovely rucksack, your floats look rather nice too.LuckyLuca wrote:Nicely done. That rucksack is a bargain.

That's a Polish army rucksack I think. I used one for about 5 years, it was a really good fishing ruck-sack, but the leather straps (for doing up the main flap) got very worse for wear and both of them broke in the end. Make sure you keep it dry, the bottom will tend to get damp and then stay damp...

Yes, it looks military but the makers label says "BB Crests Deluxe...All British"JAA wrote:That's a Polish army rucksack I think. Maybe BB made them for the armed forces?
