Sold one at Midland Game Fair that had a registration mark dated to 1885 was a potbelled style.Did not need any work left as is.Had the history belonged to the same family from new.Look after its a rare item in that condition.

Steve, nothing but a good clean and TLC. Possibly some new hinges if I can find/make something suitable.

I May, and its a huge May have found the person/company who registered the locking mechanism.

Records and details are scarce but the date looks right
