Re: Wicker/Cane fishing baskets
If anyone is interested I'm 99% certain one of my fathers wicker baskets is for sale on "That site" - its at Wisbech and titled "Vintage Fishing Wicker Basket". It appears to be missing the front staple, but appears intact. A good power wash and scrub and it should come up a good un. I have no association with the seller and suggest that if anyone is interested they request photographs of base and rear.

Yes - knew him, Harry Summers, basket maker, who my father worked for a short time 1949-1952 before becoming independent.
