Completely agree, I had some buff coloured ones made for my course rods and the maroon for fly rods. I sent Ellen the sizes required and all rods fitted perfectly, this was about 6 years ago, price extremely reasonable.

The Tackle Exchange has what it calls retro style rod bags on sale for £5. I don't know what the p+p is.

Have tried the bags from Tackle exchange. Nice quality but the tapes are very short.!
