Car boot goodies

Post by Tonytoned »

Hello Everyone

:holmes:

Had a bit of a result last Saturday at my local car boot sale, I picked up 1 Efgeeco front rod rest and a rear efgeeco head with homemade bankstick, both for £1.50. Plus a Stephens of Birmingham Rod holdall the one with the velcro at the top, I remember having one of these back in the 80's. Unbelievably! I picked this up for a £1. Just need 3 rod tubes to go in it.
That was a good day!

Fantastic, that holdall looks like new!

Nice one Tim, I use to have a rod holdall like that myself.

Thank you Mark. They were very popular at the time and kept the rods dry.

Goodies indeed Tim. And proper bargains to boot.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

What a brilliant result you have had, that rod holdall looks unused and I remember having one by Stephens many years ago. It just goes to show that the bargains are out there to be had, I do love a look around a car boot sale. :Thumb:
