A great little fishing chair.

Post by Rich »

Hi
I found these on flee-bay. Not old buy I thought they looked nice. Mine arrived today great value and sturdy enough for my more than generous physique ! Ideal with its built in carrying strap for a stroll along the river. They also do a version with spiked feet like a shooting stick.

I've started to use a square bit of water proof sponge. :thumb:

I have seen these and am tempted, but are they comfortable?

I am reminded of those canvas stools that fold to the size of a book. They fitted easilt into your rucksack but were unbearable after a few hours

Looks good bit I would be worried about it sinking into soft ground and toppling over.... :hahaha:
I generally either sit on my wicker tackle basket or if I'm going light and roving just on the ground.

That is a great bit of kit Gurn. Just had a search, I can only find them in the USA, a bit pricey $2-300

Well I managed to acquire mine on our favourite auction site for quite a bit less than that MGs, seems I got myself a bargain.. Probably would've paid a bit more than I did though, it was just one of those things you see and say to yourself, "I'm having that". :D
