For those of us brought up around North London/West Essex, Derek will be well known to many of you ?
I have not yet received my copy, but my old mate Tony Pithers has said it's a must for those who remember the Hollow and Eagle Ponds.
And of course the evolution of Carp fishing over the last 50 years !

have to get my order in!- I remember chasing up to to the Eagle Pond the morning after I had seen Dereck fishing to grovel about in the margins trying to find out which bait he was using. He was a hero to us "Eagle Specimen Group" (!)BobH wrote:For those of us brought up around North London/West Essex, Derek will be well known to many of you ?
