Casting at The Sun by Chris Yates
I have had the Medlar Press 1995 edition of 'Casting at The Sun' since 1995 but always wanted the original first edition from 1986. Well, one dropped through the letter box this morning that I purchased last weekend and not a bad price.
There are some great pictures in this edition and its about time I read it again for the umpteenth time, always will be a favourite of mine.

The book that is a reflection of many anglers early years, and that has inspired many along the traditional road, one of the greatest angling books ever.
I would also like to obtain a first edition one day - currently have a well worn Medlar Press edition.

Well done Mark. I bought mine when it was first released from a tackle shop in Wimbledon where I was living at the time. I remember reading it cover to cover in one go ! It reflected everything I felt - and largely experienced - all those decades ago. A great great book and definately one to be treasured. I am glad you have a First Edition.

Not sure which addition mine is. It gets re-read quite a few times a year

I'm just rereading it again and its lost none of its charm.

I couldn't agree more Fred....Fortunately I have both additions, though I`ve devalued them, by having Chris sign & jot down various rambling in them.....
