Terry Lampard New Book
I have just been informed that Terry Lampard was writing a new book before he sadly passed away in 2013. Apparantly it was three quarters finished and it should be available to purchase in September 2016.
I have not found out anyway to preorder as yet or who the publisher is. Any of you chaps know anymore information.

Re: Terry Lampard New Book
It does seem to be a self publishing effort by a couple of anglers in the Blandford area. It's not clear how it will be available yet or whether it is entirely stuff written by Terry or a mixture of what Terry was working on at the time of his death plus contributions from others. I have just asked the person posting about the book on Facebook a few questions so when I have some answers I will post on here.

Anybody interested in buying a copy of Terry's new book can register their intention with Iain Nairn. Iain can be found on Facebook!

Re: Terry Lampard New Book
Andy answered one of my questions - yes, the book contains contributions from others as well as Terry's own writing (he was working on this at the time of his death) - but no response from Ian re price, size or format of book. One question that intrigues me is: who owns Terry's literary estate? It is something that can be passed on in a will but otherwise the death of an author or artist doesn't mean that their work is up for grabs. A good example is that the Walker family own Dick Walker's copyright on photos and writing.AndyDalby wrote:Anybody interested in buying a copy of Terry's new book can register their intention with Iain Nairn. Hi Mark Wintle in truth Mark I don't think Iain can answer any of your questions yet!
Knowing Terry and how he lived his life I would guess that who ends up with his estate would be the last thing on his mind.
I do know however that Tim Norman financed Terry's first book and it will be Tim financing the latest one.
There are aspects of Terry's life that I am aware of but wouldn't want to discuss them on here.

I really enjoyed the book.... A nice mix of Terry's own writing from before his sad death and tributes from those who knew Terry well and shared time on the bank with him. Comes across as a lovely tribute to Terry from his friends, especially Tim Norman.
