The Illustrated Memoirs of a Fisherman
After just reading the foreword in 'Red Letter Days' I could not resist this one. 'The Illustrated Memoirs of a Fisherman' by Bernard Venables - 1993.
It is in mint condition and for only a tenner, it is winging its way to me.

I first read this as a librarian and was struck by the artwork in it. He was truly gifted.

Great addition to your angling library Mark. Good purchase.
The good angler is not the one with expensive equipment. Common sense, observation and trying to realize
what is happening above and below water will catch fish no matter what price equipment you fish with.

Although it covers much of the same ground it's an easier book to read than The Stream of Life.
