My thoughtful wife went to a craft event at Hampton Court today, and without thinking twice she purchased two I-SPY books from a vintage book stall for me. (Yes! for me!)
Well..... who remembers these from their childhood ? The Fish and Fishing was published in 1963, I would have been 2 years old. but remember them from about 1968 onwards, the other was on Insects. The artwork is absolutely delightful. (Oh yeah! the author for all the books was Big Chief I-SPY) - "how good is that".

A bit of "Odhu/ntingo" indeed!
