Oxfam books online

Post by DaceAce »

I popped into a local Oxfam shop yesterday and they had a copy of the first book I wrote and I jokingly suggested to the staff that I signed it as it would increase (decrease!) its value by 50p (on sale at £2.99). They accepted the signature and said they'd put it online.

When I got home I searched for Oxfam's online book store and found it listed books that i wouldn't have found otherwise through bookfinder.com or Amazon's dealers. Some of the prices are ambitious but I did spot Bill Watson's floatmaker's manual and David Carl Forbes' roach book so I thought a heads up was in order.

The Oxfam book site is excellent for finding rare books, there is another I use which throws it's search far and wide so you can pick and choose between a vast variance in prices

Czech Nymphing on Oxfam's website is £25.00

A new copy from Sportfish is £14.99!

Buy carefully!
