Foreign reels
Are there any good books around that cover foreign reels? I seem to be collecting a few lately and would like to find out more.The reels I have Are French,Swiss and German.TIA
Fishing is complete and utter madness.

Ben Wrights book “Wright’s Spinning Reel Reference and Value Guide” lists virtually every fixed spool reel ever made along with a brief history. Every home should have a copy.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

There is a book on French reels, but it is in French sadly.
