“The Chronicle Illustrated Guide to Fish and Fishing in the Don Valley and the Isle of Axholme”

Author is Ernest Phillips, and my copy is a 2nd Edition published in 1921 (1st 1912). Phillips was the editor of The Doncaster Chronicle and wrote “Trout in Lakes and Reservoirs” and “The Golden Trout” amongst others.
That is lovely, I love the purpose made solander box, it apprears to be quite a scarce title :Hat:

Hi Paul,
It’s very scarce, in over 25 years collecting, this is the only copy I’ve ever seen.

....and these are the river maps that the Yorkshire Post published to feature the individual rivers.

Interestingly, Bradley wanted to finish the set with the River Washburn, the Post didn’t want to, so he published a very small print run himself - you know the rest, imagine....

To be honest, Paul, I don’t have a single copy - I do have some rather weird selections in my collection though.
