That's a great list of contributors.
I'm glad to see Bob Hornegold in there. I regularly correspond with him. He has caught loads of 7lb'ers, several 8s and even a 9lb chub. Simply staggering!

I hope they proof read it and check the printer's proofs for design and layout inconsistencies. The last LEP book I bought had a photograph placed over the text!

I see the special edition has sold out already.

I'm looking forward to this one. I spent most of my early fishing years chasing chevin in the Northants / Oxfordshire area. Whether it was a big black slug plopped in front of a summer shoal or a lump of cheese paste in a quiet eddy in winter. Great stuff.

Some great art work adorning these two books' dustwrappers. Incidentally, the painting used for the special edition is a one by Richard Smith entitled "If you turn out to be a prince in the morning I'll be really gutted"! It was also used as the front cover for NASA's 'Specialist Angler' magazine, number 8.

I missed out on the special edition too :  You've got to be super quick and order immediately that LEP's email goes out....
