Centrepin advice
Hi, I'm looking to get a decent centrepin - either used or new. I fish small rivers and would like it to be suitable for legering / laying on and trotting although I realise these may ideally be two different beasts. Any thoughts or advice gratefully received. Thanks.

The rapidex, with it's caged construction, is the better option if you have never used a pin before I think. I have both - good reels.

I don't get it. When I first got into pins they were cheap and I didn't bother because I thought they were ugly. Still do.

I have been using a match aerial for years. It's great and the line does not bed in on the narrow drum.
