Thankyou for your kind words gentlemen, I'm glad you liked the picture and to Vole who enquired about the reel, its an Allcocks Flick 'Em and you know the great thing about centrepins, aside from the thrilling direct contact with the fish, is that there is no line twist and I can savour the lovely staright line snaking out to the float......... hooray !!!

Mushy,
I'll be even more jealous when you get a Cru on cane! Is the 4lber a definate Cru?. I take it its a private water?
John,
Have you got some target Tinca water's in sight for this summer.

Thanks, Mushy, I really should have spotted that! Lovely reels that modestly hide their spokes under a bushel.

But the real dream is the Lea, yes the Lea .....last spring at Cheshunt I had three blanks on three trips using all the jazz.Casters two rods , buzzers well I bought them from dragon carp, sweet corn...In the end I walked away.Drove 100 miles and caught one after the other at Lemington lakes..
But my dream is a Lea Tinca......if it happens the rods might just go in and Id be seen whooping and a dancing across Fishers green never to be seen again
