Tofu

Post by Santiago »

Has anyone experimented with using tofu as as bait? A friend bought me some to eat but to my eyes it looks more like a good fishing bait; especially since one can flavour and colour it and squeeze it to alter its firmness. I'm thinking of using it like meat on a hair or directly hooking it. But I have yet to open the packet to see if it would be suitable. Any advice most welcome !

Not something I have tried, as you say it's great carrier of flavour so aught to have an application.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

No good for human consumption a very silly food item
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

Indeed, Loop. My wife's veggie so I've had the unfortunately task of trying it once or twice. God-awful stuff! Now, Quorn's another proposition altogether. Has anyone tried that?

I can't bring myself to eat the stuff. I prefer my fungi to look like mushrooms!
