Using your loaf

Post by Aitch »

Well I'll be jiggered.... The wife is attempting to make a bread pudding from her mum's old recipe and being the curious type I wondered why she was wrapping bread in a muslin sheet.... My good lady gave the bread a mash then a good soaking, then she chucked the bagged soaked bread into the washing machine on spin cycle only, (not rinse) the resulting mix is a superb consistency for fishing on the hook, or with added water for a bread mash and you can add the flavours of your choice beforehand... I'm gonna have to give this a go on my local waters
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

Are there no traces of soap in the washing machine? I would have thought that the slightest bit of Arial would have the roach scarpering.

The machine is on spin only... no rinse and the "spin only", takes out the excess water and the bread is protected in the muslin... :Thumb:
