I have found it to be a good carp bait Winter or Summer. Good idea to keep a couple of sticks in your bag.

I tried it for a few hours this morning with no joy. Thanks for all the answers. I'll keep trying with it. perhaps I'll try it on an easier water some time soon.

As far as I know there are 3 sorts from, normal, hot & super hot. The "spicy" ones works better in coloured water - I only use them on the river though.
