Hush hush secret additive

Post by Santiago »

:readnews:
Just been tinkering around in the lab and have to report the successful making of a most secretive groundbait additive based on a very traditional bait of international renown used by the maharajas in the catching of many splendid specimens when used on the hook. I suspect with our coarse fish it will be pretty useless as a hook bait, but of course, I'm hoping it will work exceedingly well as an attractant in groundbait and as a rub on attractant for smearing on ledgers etc.

On Friday I made batch 1 at 50% strength and today I poured batch number 2 which is full strength and I will know tomorrow if it will be usable.

I've also two more flavours to try. And then roll on the start of the season for some actual testing. Which is fine because it will take until then to mature. If it works I will be taking out a patent! If it works I will post details.

It isn't Phaal Sauce is it?

What is your favourite word?
I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.

Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Not even warm. Steve I have a pot with your name on for collection in the summertime.

Nothing to do with curry chaps although I might add chilli. One needs special lab equipment to make it and you have to use dangerous chemicals.

I hope you have have your own fish to test it upon in a land locked venue. Need to be very careful what enters our waterways.

It's based on a traditional bait used in India and very harmless when made. One can even eat it, but it tastes yucky; I tried a bit.
